Are you a grandparent?
Do you want to be inspired, encouraged, and equipped to become an even better grandparent?
Make plans now to attend the Legacy Grandparenting Summit on February 21-23 at the First Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton, California.
This national conference, sponsored by the Legacy Coalition, is not only for grandparents, but it’s also for church leaders who want to reach out to the grandparents in their pews with resources and encouragement. Today’s Christian grandparents are active, involved, and poised to impact a future generation by passing on their faith to their grandchildren, and the Legacy Grandparenting Summit will provide tools to help them do just that.

“We believe there is incredible potential for spiritual discipling in the grandparent-grandchild relationship,” explains Larry Fowler, Founder of the Legacy Coalition, “and we’d love to mobilize the thirty million of us Christian grandparents in the U.S. for that very objective.”
Fowler, along with his team of gifted ministry leaders, lead and equip an ever-increasing national movement of Christian grandparents who desire to more intentionally influence their grandchildren to follow Christ. The team and their ministry partners hold local seminars – Courageous Grandparenting and Grandparenting Matters – across the nation as they reach grandparents and church leaders with the importance of the grandparent-grandchild role. The Legacy Grandparenting Summit is the organization’s third national conference, and the team expects more than 1,200 conferees to attend. If previous conferences are any indication, most attendees will be between the ages of 55 and 75.
In planning for this event, Director of Conferencing Wayne Rice continues to witness God’s blessings. “We are blessed again to have a world-class lineup of speakers, and we want to supplement that with an even more robust resource center,” Rice explains.

Nationally known speakers include Josh McDowell, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Alistair Begg. A variety of breakout workshops will encourage, teach, and inspire those in attendance, and Fernando Ortega will be the conference’s special musical guest.
Various ministries, organizations, and individuals are partnering with the Legacy Coalition to bring to bring resources of interest to those in attendance at the Summit’s Resource Center. “We have a big dream,” Fowler commented, “to create the largest resource hub ever for Christian grandparents.”
